In his younger years, Bob enjoyed playing a round of golf with friends.  All his sons took up the game and enjoy playing as well.  He was an avid Husker fan and woe be to the person who called or dropped by when the game was on - distractions were not looked upon with favor.

When he was a homeowner, he enjoyed taking care of his lawn and gardens.  He was know for his perfect looking yard - this due to his diligent pursuit of the stray grasses that dared to grow in his yard.
