Words cannot express the love and fond memories I have of Elder Bobby Harris. Without his prayers, I can honestly say, "I don't know where I would be in my life journey". I first met Elder Harris during the dark years of my life when I didn't know what life was all about. I was baptized by Elder in 1994, appointed deacon in 1997, and then ordained by him in 1999. During the many years, he has been there for me and my family in more ways imaginable. We have played together, cried together, witnessed together, ate together. Whenever I needed counseling, he was there. Whenever I was discouraged, he was there. Whenever I had family problems, he was there. Elder, you have been a true friend and father figure to me and my boys since the first day we met. You have been a guardian angel and my “Papa” in ministry for the past 21 years. You will forever hold a special place in my heart and mind as I continue to serve God. Heaven needed an angel and God sent you home. Goodbye until we meet again. You will always be in my heart and mind, and will remain my “Papa” in ministry. Rest in peace my friend.
