This is Bob back in 2005. This was the infamous "pool clean-up" when we were opening it for the season in our new home that year. He was one of the 1st guys to get into the murky waters that day.....It smelled worse than it looked.

Bob and I always looked forward to our Sunday rides with George and Chris. It is one of my greatest memories shared with Bob and the crew!  shared by Darren

Bob was prone to falling asleep in the office chair. If I got up in the night I would turn off the TV and lights and just leave him there. This recording is of a discussion we had the morning after one of these incidents.

We are a bit of a chaotic bunch and it took some doing to talk Bob into attending a Close family function (thanksgiving) but he eventually caved and came along. At one point somebody handed out fake mustaches for silly pictures and I got Bob to kiss me while sporting mine :-)

This is a picture of Bobby and his step daughter, Samantha.  She was his pride and Joy.  She has grown into a sweet young lady.  Bobby loved her so much. 

This picture of Bob was taken at a picnic David and I had at our home this past 4th of July.  We had so much fun and many laughs.  Ruth and George were there with their sons Matthew and Mark, also our daughter, Lori with her children, Jameson and Destiny.  As always, Bobby was the hit of the party. We could count on him to bring joy and excitement.  We will miss him very much but look forward to seeing him again in glory and never needing to say goodbye to him again.  We will love him forever.

November 8, 1974 Bob began his lifelong love of dirtbikes.

One of the sweetest things about Bob was the way he would randomly present me with a fistful of flowers he gathered from somewhere. This particular one was the first of many. We were hiking the Laurel Highlands Trail in PA and I was trying to make breakfast over a smokey fire and he wandered off. I saw him out among the ferns bending over now and then - I assumed he was getting sticks for the fire - but he came back over hiding something behind his back and made me close my eyes so he could get a piece of tin foil folded into a "vase" and present them to me.

Soon after we began dating Bob took me to a party at George's house. Bob was wearing his kilt and there was a woman there who kept insinuating that Bob wasn't a "real man" because of his "skirt". After a couple of Rum and Cokes Bob got silly and pointed a stick at her pretending they were dueling, saying "touche" in a squeaky voice every time she tried to say anything to him. She got pretty frustrated that she couldn't get a rise out of him and eventually left him alone. Perfect example of Bob refusing to allow somebody else's "issues" ruin his good time.
