His Life

In loving memory of Dad

January 22, 2016

My dad grew up in the Clear Springs community and was one of eight children. His parents were Ralph Edward and Lillie Mae Williams Witt. His first job was the railroad at John Sevier, then the mines at Mascot and then he became a truck driver. Even having his own company called Stiles and Witt at one time. He retired from A.J. Metler and received an award for driving Million Miles safely. He married Brenda Joyce Hatmaker and they had Kimberly Ann, Timmy Edward and Scottie Ralph Witt. He became Pap when Chad Matthew Nipper was born in 1981. Then in 1987, Joshua David Samples was born. He loved God, family, friends, church, Western books, Conservative Politics, his cat, Gypsy, travel and the races. He was well loved and he loved well. He was the best dad and grandfather. Me, my mom and dad went to Pawleys Island, S,C. in May 2012, he passed away a month later on June 20, 2012. Our whole family miss and love him so much. I know for sure he is at rest in Heaven and one day, we all will be together again with the Lord. Rest in peace, you will never be forgotten.
