Birthday's past

July 24, 2013

Today on your 37th birthday I am remembering your past birthday's.  Parties, people and you.

I was trying to think about all the different birthday cakes you had.  E.T., Darth Vadar, R2D2, a guitar, Superman etc.

The many phases of, Star Wars,  He-man, Spiderman, Superman. ( Remember the Superman quilt I made you?), WWF wrestlers, matchbox cars etc.  (You and Jamie playing for hours in the basement playroom.)

Chucky Cheese party in Hamilton.  Laura, Denise, Jamie, Michael, Christa.

Those were the great, happy times.  Wish we could of had more, but I won't forget the ones we did have.   Love you beyond the outer limits.   Mum  xoxoxoxo

Proud and loving Father

October 12, 2012

As time went on Brign became a father.  First came Jesse.  Oh how proud Brian was of his first born.  One thing I have to say is that Brian was a good father.  He truly loved all of his children.  He couldn't provide finanically for them but he loved them so much.  Second came Brynn, third Aurora, fourth Emmaoreta and then Jonny Shy.  He very much loved Janet's two boys as well, Chris and Phoenix, he thought of them as his children too.  He told me several times that he deeply cared for each and every one of them.  Brian had many disappointments during his short life, but he never reqretted the kids.  Through his depressions and unhapppy times his children were what kept him going.  He always wanted the best for all of them.  I know he wanted them to succed in life and have a better one than he had.  He wanted only happiness and love and the best of everything for them.  I want them all to know, no matter what anyone says, he gave you the only thing that he could and that was his love.

Hi Tina. I don't facebook much so I just got your message, thank you for the birthday blessing. 36 time flies, sometimes I look  back and it seems like just yesterday we were hell raising kids in the trailer park, playing in the creek. I don't know if you know this but Brian taught all of us how to clime a small tree high enough until it bent completely over far enough to cross the widest parts of the creek. The first time I saw him do it I thought her was the creepiest dude

Remembering Christmas in the past

December 24, 2011

I heard that Grandpa Hing is with you and you are happy.  Remember the great times at Grandpa's.  When family was family and everyone gathered for Christmas dinner.  You really had a good time with all your cousins.  Not being at our house wasn't such a problem because you kinda had several Christmas', ours, grandpa Hing's, Grandma Barbosa's and Grandma Sherrys.  You loved Christmas and was always excited.   As you got older you enjoyed Christmas with us and your friends.  More than likely you liked being off from school.  Then it was Christmas with girlfriends and finally with your own family.  I know you loved being with your kids at Christmas and sharing their excitment just as much as I loved being with you at their age.  Your family misses you and I do too, so much.  Wish you could be here with all of us.

When you were four years old you wanted a boy cabbage patch boy doll. They were hard to come by and I waited hours for the store to open and they were throwing the dolls out of the stockroom doors into the crowd.  Well, I caught one and luckily it was a boy doll.  You were so happy and named him A.J.  You took him everywhere with you and your dad (John) was pissed because you had a doll.  No son of his should have a doll.  But A.J. was your buddy and I argued with your dad over it all the time, and we always won the battle. You didn't become a sissy and you were deffinately all boy.  So there John.  Ha. ha.  The whole neighborhood had cabbage patch dolls and it was the first year they were on the market.  Everyone in the neighborhood would gather together and bring their dolls to play at the playground.  I remember the dolls came with adoption papers and how happy you were to name your doll and sign the adoption papers.  Those were wonderful memories.  I wish we could make more beatiful memories, but those will last my lifetime.

My brains are falling out!

July 26, 2011

When Bri was six or seven they were constructing a pole barn in our condo complex in Stoney Creek, Ont.  The construction was done for the day and Bri decided to climb up one of the unfinished walls.  Well, Bri fell and cut his forehead.  He came running home, blood all over the front of him yelling all the way, MOM! MY BRAINS ARE FALLING OUT I'M GOING TO DIE!  I said no your not, but  he was so worried about all his brains falling out. Although I was just as scared as he was it was funny when it was over.  John took him to the hospital emergency and got him fixed up. He went back out to play later that day and the condo association president knock on our door with Brian in hand.  Guess where they found him after I filed a complaint that they should have put up a safety fence around the construction site.  YOU GUESSED RIGHT, ON TOP OF THE CONSTRUCTION WALL AGAIN!!!!!!!!
