10 years ago, can’t believe how fast the time has gone dad. Life has changed so much for me and I am so sad that you haven’t travelled along the last 10 years with me. I have got so much to tell you and show you. I know you are sometimes with me but it just isn’t the same without you here.

Cant believe its been 6 years today since you’ve been gone. Never got a chance to say goodbye to you which really hurts. You were the one that understanded me the most, that made me laugh, joked around with, basically knew how to make your grandson the happiest he could be. I will always remember the times we shared together. I remember every sunday i used to come around yours for a sunday roast. I used to sit at the table looking out the window waiting for you to come home. You made me the happiest and im so thankful for everything you did. You were a great and hard worker, great drinker and a great person. You will forever be in my heart forever and always. Everyday i look up at the sky looking for you. 4years today you have been gone and today has been especially hard. Feels like I have the whole world in my shoulders and I really need you here to help. Dad, you would have been retiring from work tomorrow and jetting off on your dream holiday on Saturday. Its just so sad that you didnt get the chance to enjoy your retirement and do all of the things you always talked about with me.

I just wanted to let you know that everytime that i play soccer i wear the t-shirt that my dad ordered with your picture on it, so you could still watch me play. I love you grandad always miss youxxx and i hope i could play a trick on you one day :(

Every weekend that i came over, i would be at the dinner table looking out of the corner of the window waiting for you to come home from the pub. While we were sitting down watching t.v or do something else you would always play a different joke on us and we would always fall for it.

Grandad, to start off with you were my favourtie grandad out of all of my other grandad's. when i came over christmas time i didn't like to see you slumping on the sofa ill, not yourself and most of all leaving holes in the sofa where you had been sitting. (see next message)
