Bryan Jay Secor, age 61, passed away January 17, 2023 at his home in Oakdale, Minnesota.
Bryan was born in St. Paul, MN and grew up on the east side. Bryan graduated from Harding High School in 1979 and served in the United States Marine Corps from 1981 to 1987.
Bryan began his lifelong career with the MN Laborers Union shortly after serving and retired in 2016 after almost 30 years of service.
Bryan was married to his wife, Catherine for 21 years before she passed in April of 2021. He has two children from a previous marriage.
Bryan loved Harley Davidson motorcycles, vacationing in Jamaica, long motorcycle rides on hot summer nights, hanging with friends at the local bar, and spending time with his great grandchildren whom he adored.
Bryan was preceded in death by his wife Catherine Secor, and his sister Julie Fitzgerald.
Brian is survived by his children Alise and Dylan Secor; stepchildren Tanya and Jamie Richert; grandchildren Alexa and Triston Richert; great grandchildren Alivia, Anthony and Alaya; parents Bernard (Janet) Secor, Patricia Donna May Sweeney; siblings Renee Chisholm, Greg (Julie) Secor, Lori (Ron) Frost, and many other relatives and friends.
Per his wishes, there will be no formal service. His ashes will be scattered in Montego Bay, Jamaica the same place his wife’s ashes were scattered. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, April 21, 2023 from 4-7pm at the VFW, 2482 7th Ave E, North St. Paul, MN, 55109.
