Buky was a lover of the arts; she loved music: classical, contemporary christian, pop, R&B. She studied and played the piano for many years, passing several examinations in the theory and practice of music of the Royal College of Music, London.
She throughly enjoyed theater; broadway shows , off-broadway shows, broadway tours in cities or local shows with her favorite musical being Les Miserables.
She was also an avid reader from Achebe to Hemmingway and in more recent years Adichie. You could always be sure to find 1 or 2 NYT best sellers on her shelf.
Buky loved to travel, criss-crossing the globe to spend time with family and friends while discovering new places. She traveled widely in North America, South America, Europe, Middle East and Africa.
Buky loved and served God diligently from her early days as a member of the Sunbeam children's choir (All Souls church, bodija) to her days in the adult choir. In recent years, she worshipped at Jesus House, DC, Church of the Redeemer, City Church; the most important aspect was her relationship with her Lord.
