Apenas puedo creer que pasaron 8 largos años desde que tracendiste; para mi no hace tanto tiempo. Ya que sigues viviendo en mi corazón, en mi día a día. Nunca se irá tu presencia ni los recuerdos que dejaste en mi memoria. Es increible que el poco tiempo que pasamos juntos hayan sido tan llenos de largas conversaciones, de mucho cariño mutuo, de compatibilidad, como si hubiéramos estado juntos toda la vida.
Doy Gracias a Dios por permitirme compartir los últimos años a tu lado.   Se que te fuiste en paz, y me quedé en paz al haber tenido nuestra gran conversación que nos debiamos.
Te quiero tanto, te extrañaré siempre..

We held my Dad's service on Sunday February 10th 2013. The day was a bit cloudy but at the end it turned out to be beautiful. Dad would have been so happy to see how we paid tribute to his life. Before his passing he would joke about the day we would say goodbye to him. Even when speaking about such a serious topic he would manage to make a joke or two. It was a though day to get through, but his memory made us cry and laugh at the same time. The Pastor couldn't have put it better, my dad was lucky cause even after the headaches we give to a parent as children, we also managed to give him some of life's bet gifts. Care, compassion, and most of all Love. I'll always miss my Daddy.
