Cade,

I barely knew you while you were on earth, but you have impacted my life more than any other human has I believe.  I don't know what it is about you...but you changed me...for the better.  I have never prayed as hard for anyone up to this point in my life, and despite your passing to a better life I still see God in the midst of things.  

For some reason we are connected.  Even more so now.  You can ask your daddy or listen to his prayers someday (Brian you better be praying ha ha ha!), but we have some crazy stories about how we are all connected in some way that can only be explained by God.  

I am so excited because I know where you are now, but I will admit we miss you down here.  You made this place better.  How do I know that?  One day in the hospital I put my hand on your chest and felt your heart beat.  I prayed to God while your heart beat into my hand.  I swear I felt God's beating heart in unison with yours.  I felt like I knew you at that point and could feel the love of God that you gave everyone on a daily basis.  That's not hard to see in the natural either...just look around!!! 

So my relationship with you begins, my little angel, Cade.  I do believe you can hear our prayers as you sit on Jesus' lap.  With all my being I believe you are with us more so than ever.   

Listen, little man, your family is just a flash of time behind you...we are all on our way and look forward to seeing you.  Would you give mommy a hug when she comes through that gate?
