Mr. Calvin Coolidge Cooper, the son of the late Booker T. (Sr.) and Mary Parker Cooper Cannon, was born August 19, 1957 in Troup County, GA. He departed this life on Sunday, June 5, 2016 at UAB Hospital, Birmingham, AL.

Calvin accepted Christ as his Lord and savior at an early age and united with the New Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, West Point, GA.

Calvin was well known throughout the community. He had God gifted hands with maintaining individuals’ yards. Calvin’s work spoke itself, because the yards were always well maintained and beautiful. He loved his occupation.

Mr. Cooper was preceded in death by twin sisters, Catherine and Carolyn; a brother, Marshall Cooper.

He leaves to cherish her memories: one daughter, Dominic K. Whitlow, Warner Robins, GA; one son, Jeremy Huguley, Lanett, AL; seven grandchildren, ; one sister, Patricia Cooper, West Point, GA; three brothers, William(Lillie) Cooper, Charlie Cooper, Booker T. (Linda) Cooper, West Point, GA; a host of nieces, nephew, cousins and other relatives and friends.
