My Dear Nephew

Carl, it still hurts to remember your departure from us and the terrible news of it. I pray you made it safely to the arms of GOD.
My most fondest memory of you is when you, Quincy and Julius thought you were grown enough to attack me. You must have been about 7, 6 and 5. We were visiting Auntie Bessie. You guys always had a lot of energy. I don’t remember all of the details but I remember us in the front yard wrestling. You gave it a good try but at the end, I had the three of you pinned down and screaming for dear life. Your mom saved you by yelling at me to let you go. When all was said and done, you would always threaten me but for some reason would not engage again, lol.
