|Let the memory of "Carl" Carroll be with us forever|
"Today is the 87th anniversary of Grandpa's birth! Happy Birthday Grandpa.......I still think of you all of the time. I remember that one time you asked me not to ever forget you; I won't! Happy Birthday, I love you."
"I always enjoyed visiting Carl and hearing the fascinating stories of his chidhood, Naval service, and Police work. There wasn't much he did not do in his 86 years. Carl truly was a man's man and didn't take crap from anyone! He was a great grandfather and meant so much to his family. I will truly miss him may he rest in peace."
"Carl was one of the best friends you could ask for. We had many good times with him whether we were sitting around or fishing or just playing pool at the retirement home. We come to know Carl just a few years ago wish we could have met him sooner . But the time we had with him was a blessing and many memories that we can cherish for a lifetime."
"How I wish I had told Uncle Carl how much he meant to me. When I was a little girl and he and Aunt Shirley came for visits he would show me card tricks and slight of hand tricks for hours! My mother told me today that he did a motorcycle in a barrel act!! Uncle Carl will forever hold a special place in my heart."
"I missed out on the wonderful opportunity to meet Carl Miller. But I did have several opportunities to hear the close adoration and love that Jennifer held for her grandfather whenever she spoke of him. I could always hear the wonderful bond they shared just in her voice, with just the mention of him. I miss Carl for Jennifer, Carol and Mark."
"I did not know Carl personally but I know his daughter Carol who because of him is a beautiful, caring, wonderful person. I know Carol and family will miss him greatly. You all are in my thoughts and prayers."
"Marcus, Carol, Jennifer & family,
I was stunned to learn of Carroll's passing, but not completely surprised as his health had been failing from what I could gather. Reconnecting with my step brother just a few years ago was something I will cherish.
I will share this news with his halfbrothers, Carl and Ronald. I hope, his other daughter, Paula will be told."
"Carl is my friend. He was , when he was with us, Shirley & I, he still is. I will see him again, when my life is over, so will Shirley. He called her -The Rose Lady because she loved the roses that Carl grew in his yard, but most of all, we loved him because he was a dear friend- and- a man! We will miss our friend for a while, but not long, as we are also -on our way home as well. Soon."
"First, thank you my dear daughter Jennifer for creating this lovely tribute. What to say about dad. The first thing that comes to mind is the song "My Way". That is how he lived his life. I will miss hearing my dad call me his darling daughter. But, My Heart Belongs To Daddy. I love you daddy."
"I invite anyone and everyone to share stories about the wonderful man that is my grandfather, Carl Miller and/or to share your prayers and condolences. Thank you in advance."
