You were taken entirely way too soon from us Carmen! Not a day goes by that I don't think of you and all of your quirky little smiles. I'd give anything to pick up the phone and hear your sweet voice wanting to use my camera for the yearbook pictures, but I know you are in heaven photographing all of the beauty there! Love you and miss you so very much!

Please accept my warmest condolences. I would like to share a word of comfort with you from the Bible. I know that you will remember Carmen forever. She is also in the memory of God. "The hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out"(John 5:28,29) We can believe that God will resurrect our loved ones to life here on earth because of the examples recorded in his word. One such example is at John 11:39-44 when, with the help of his Father, Jesus resurrected Lazarus and returned him to his family."

Carmen, this was your legacy, you made everyone smile that way.
Each hug, or smile, your laughter and cheer,
All of those precious memories, we will forever hold dear.
Your bright blue eyes, and your gorgeous, gleaming smile,
Are in heaven with our Lord; because you're His shinning angel now.
You're walking the streets of gold, Holding onto God's loving hand.
You're singing in the choir, a memeber of the angel band.
We cried the day that we lost you. Life will never be the same.
We're taking comfort in knowing, though, that one day, we will meet again.
You touched so many lives, in so very many ways.
Your testimony will live on in our hearts, for all the rest of our days.
