"We were blessed by Carnie Scates. It wasn't just her beauty, her smile which we will forever remember, but her forthrightness, her honesty, her kindness and love for those she loved as well as for strangers. She was truly a remarkable woman and we were impressed with the love she clearly showed for her family who clearly loved and greatly admired her in return.
Again, God has blessed us with the rich, lovable and true person we knew in Carnie Scates. She will be missed of course and yet to have known her leaves us better than we were.
God be with her children and loved ones in her absence.

"So sorry that you have experienced the loss of someone so dear. Wouldn't it be nice to live during a time when no one will feel the pain of sickness and the overwhelming sorrow of death.  That is a solid promise found in the pages of God's word. Isa 33:24 says of that future time, "And no resident will say: I am sick.""

"To Toni and the Scates Family,
Hold on to every heartfelt memory of your dear mother, wife and grand mother for comfort, surround yourself with close friends and loving family for strength, and never forget how much you meant to her.

We pray the love of God comforts each of you completely during your difficult times and that He helps you heal with the passage of time.
We rest in knowing with absolute confidence that Mother Carnie rejoices in heaven seated with our creator. Take comfort in knowing that someone so special to each of us will forever be present in our hearts and mind. We love you and lift you on high to our lord and savior, Jesus Christ.

"Aunt Connie was a remarkable and beautiful woman. I loved her demeanor and loving ways. Though I didnt hang out with her as much as I should she always received me with open arms and unconditional love. God bless my cousins cause I know the journey of seeing your Mom leave and go on to the Kings table. Praise the Lord that she is in glory cause she earned her crown. May God brighten your days.
