Carolyn J. Cook passed away Wednesday, December 12, 2012 after suffering extensive complications from an accident where she was struck by lightning in her own home on July 1, 2012.

Services will be held on Saturday, December 15, 2012, at the McCarthy Funeral home in West Point, GA with visitation being from 10:30 AM EST to 11:30 AM EST, and services following immediately thereafter at the funeral home. Reverend Howard Merchant will officiate.

The family requests no flowers to honor the last wishes of Carolyn, but instead requests memorials be made in the form of donations in memory of Carolyn J. Cook to either the Lanett First Christian Church or to Springwood School in Lanett, AL.
