Carolyn Wheelous Rosser was born March 5, 1939 to the late Corsby and Elsie T. Wheelous.

She joined the Macedonia Baptist Church at an early age.

She attended Meriwether County School. She was united in Holy Matrimony to John Thomas Rosser and Willie Amos Rosser, Sr. both whom preceded her in death.  She was also preceded in death by two sons, Thomas and Willie Jr. along with two sisters (Ester Mae and Judy) and four brothers (Eugene, Garnett, James and Zavis).

Carolyn leaves a lifetime of great memories to be cherished forever by her children, Ms. Cathy Rosser, Mrs. June Cameron (Douglas), Mr. and Mrs. Gregory Rosser (Roberta), Mr. and Mrs. Casey Rosser (LaJoyce) and Ms. Constance Rosser and Betty Addie, all of the Lone Oak Community; one sister, Ruth Evans of Newnan, GA; one aunt, Eva Mae Wheelous Harris of Chattanooga, TN; five sister-in-laws and two brother-in-laws; a very dear and special granddaughter, Tiffany Rosser, who was also her caregiver; special sister, Jan Gilliam and friends, Elaine Smith and Dorothy Robinson; fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great grandchildren; a host of nieces nephews, cousins and many friends.
