His Life

Cary's life from beginning to end.

April 28, 2014

Cary Randall Morlan was born in Moses Lake, Washington  on the 3rd day of October in the year of 1950, He was born at 7:30 in the evening. He was the largest baby in the hospital weighing in at 9 lbs.
He lived his infant life as normal as most babies.  Entered Kindergarten at the age of 5 at the Peninsula Elementary school.  What a handsome little boy he was.  Full of energy and loved everyone.  Never knew a stranger.  Finished Elementary School.  After several moves, we moved on to Wenatchee, Wa. where he performed with the Wenatchee Youth Circus, walking high wire. He went on to walk the wire professionaly.
After graduating Rainier High School in Des Moines, Wa. he joined the Marine Carp for 2 years.
Came home with his good friend Tommy Martinez, who was in the Corps with him.   They both went to work at the U. S Post Office where he retired after 30 yrs,  (Someone correct me if I'm wrong.)
Through out all this he met and married the only love of his life, Margaret Morlan who is with our family still.  They had two sons:
Shane Randall Morlan and
Eric Thomas Morlan.
They were the very pride of his life and brought him much joy.  Shane has presented him with 3 grandchildren....and Eric has presented him with one, and a new little grandson on the way.  Will arrive in July.  And lest I forget......Shane's wife is a sweet lady by the name of Channa.  She fits right in with this crazy family.  Eric has blessed us with his new wife, Jessica. Cary loved his family with his whole being.  He lived and breathed for Margaret and his family.
He loved fishing and went with his brothers Michael and Kevin any chance he could get.
That doomed, never to be forgotten day, (June 12th 2014) when Kevin called me to say that Cary had been in an accident.  He was being transported to the hospital by ambulance, but he was alive.  Those last words gave me great cause for concern.  Kevin called later to tell me that he was being flown into Harborview Medical.  I knew at that time that it was very serious.  We were at the hospital for 3 weeks before he left us.  His body was just too broken up.
He lived a wonderful, full life with much joy and happiness.  He loved everybody and everybody loved him.  We were blessed to have him as long as we did.

Would like to encourage all of you to add to this story.  I just kinda hit the highlights and I'm sure I have left a lot out.

Please feel free to tell of your stories with Cary.
