Catherine Reams Clayborne, 74, a longtime resident of Granville County passed away Sunday, May 26th 2013 at her home.

A native of Granville County, the daughter of the late Calvin Wesley and Mattie Pearl Wilson Reams. She was a member of West Oxford Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Graveside services will be conducted at 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 29th 2013 at Meadowview Memorial Park by Rev. Wes Garner.

Surviving are two sons, Dennis R. Clayborne ans Kenneth T. Clayborne, both of Oxford, three sisters, Mary Williamson of Peterburg, Va., Edith Branch and Ada Greene, both of Henderson, three brothers, Jack Reams of Bullock, Russell Reams of Stovall and Robert Reams of Oxford, four grandchildren and two great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother, Calvin Reams Jr.

Visitation will follow the graveside services at Meadowview Memorial Park in Oxford.

Eakes Funeral Home in Oxford is assisting the Clayborne family.
