Catherine Jones, 88 died peacefully Saturday at Transitions Life Care. Throughout her life, she loved and cared for her family and always greeted you with her beautiful smile, even until the end. She had a beautiful voice and loved to sing, and was always active in her church and choir. She loved to cook, sew, crochet and spend time with her grandchildren. She graduated from Hardbarger Junior College of Business in Raleigh. She worked as a secretary at Hudson-Belk and retired as an underwriter at N.C Joint Underwriting Association.

Life Celebration Service will be Friday, September 28, 11:00 AM at The Fountain of Raleigh Fellowship, 9621 Six Forks Rd, Raleigh, NC. Burial will follow at 1:30 PM at Montlawn Memorial Park, 2911 S. Wilmington St. Raleigh NC

Visitation will be held from 10:00 – 11:00 AM Friday, prior to the service.

She is survived by her Daughter, Emily King of Raleigh; sons, David Jones and wife Mary of Angier and Stan Jones and wife Julee of Creedmoor; 11 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.
