Stories about my mom whew where do I start? My mom was one of the most amazingly strong women I knew even in her final days she fought. She would always make sure her kids were taken care of first even if that meant that she went without. Mom loved to cook and anyone who came in hungry didn't leave that way if she would let them leave. And if they didn't have a place to sleep she would make room. Mom had one hell of a sense of humor. Always with a smile or her face but if that smile disappeared you best watch for that mean left hook lol. Many times I've wished that I could have her back for just 5 minutes. Moms birthday is 3 days after mine and she went into the hospital on thanksgiving morning. She was laid to rest on my brothers birthday so needless to say we really have no desire to celebrate those days. Wish mom could've been around to see her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mom the days and the nights are never going to be the same without you my precious angel. Continue to watch over us and be with us each and every day. I know your with me every day because when I get flustered and I want to tear into people I hear your voice saying to me "Mookie its not that serious, people are ignorant and ignorance is every where. You are not what they say you are, you are what God made you. If he made us all the same the world would be boring, so you hold your head up high and be proud of who you are and don't let nobody or anything take that from you. Wear it as your crown and you wear the hell out of it."
