Her Life
September 11, 2012

Born in West Point on Monday, September 12, 1949, she was the daughter of the late Demur “Joe” and Betty Jean Henson Carroll. She was a graduate of Lanett High School.  There are some people that touch our lives either by birth; friendship or love....I was proud to have known and loved Cathy....She was a teacher and so wise about life - she took her experiences and learned from them and used them to help others...She was Straight-up person - you KNEW where you stood with her good or bad......A strong woman who was a fighter and would use humor to get through anything and made the best of any situation which I admired....She leaves behind so many good memories for so many which is a great gift. All those that will remember her will know how she touched their heart......She will be missed greatly - but we were lucky to have her in our lives at all!!

She was preceded in death by her brother, Noah Daniel Carroll and is survived by her daughter, Stacy (Adam) Bartlett of West Point, Georgia; her sons, Mike Carroll, T. J. (Melanie) Sprinkle, and Stephen Sprinkle all of Charleston, South Carolina; her sisters, Betty Williams of Huguley, Alabama, Belinda O’Shield of Beulah, Alabama, and Ramona Baldwin of LaGrange, Georgia; her brothers, William Carroll of Birmingham, Alabama and Phillip Carroll of Nashville, Tennessee; 4 grand children Kaitlyn Bartlett and Addison Bartlett both of West Point, Georgia, Alex Sprinkle and Emily Sprinkle both of Charleston, South Carolina..
