Cecil Eugene Adcock, 51, a lifetime resident of the Berea Community passed away July 15, 2014 at Duke Regional Hospital after an extended illness.
A native of Granville County, he was the son of the late Henry Adcock and worked at Athol Corp. in Butner for over twenty-five years.
Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, July 17, 2014 at 11:00 A.M. at Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery by the Rev. Barry Chambers.
Surviving are his mother, Fannie Mae Humphries Adcock of the Senior Center in Henderson, a special person in his life, Joan Woodlief of the home, one brother, Melvin Adcock (Dot) of Rougemont, three sisters; Mildred Raynor of Rougemont, Merle Clayborne (Ray) of Henderson, Deborah Jackson (James) of Rougemont, step-daughter, Christy Honoker (Barry) of Henderson and a step-grandaugher, Kristen Honoker of Henderson.
Visitation will be held after the graveside service.

"And he will wipe out every tear from their eyes, and death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away. " I hope the promises of the Bible can bring you comfort during this difficult time."
