Chad LOVED Ceaser salads so much I had to master making them at home, complete with anchovies in my homemade  Ceasar dressing and home made croutons. Initially he learned to love chicken pasta ceasar salads when I would treat him & Jes at Cheddars for their good report cards. In high school Chad decided to make a little spendy cash and requested I make a very big batch of croutons. He said they were too good not to share and good enough to sell...which he did often... to his classmates for .50 cents a bag! 

We will never forget the time Chad snuck up behind Aunt Debbie and put his pet gerbil on on the back af her bare neck as she was engaged in talking to Sandy & Gayle in my Springfield living room.  In one swift motion there was a blood curdling scream as she reached back to grab and toss it! Of course Chad & everybody there cracked up laughing!

Chad, Jimmy & Jon Ellenburg. They were best friends & had so much fun together jumping on the trampoline, watching movies, builiding legos and being boys!

Chad was a fanatic about having perfect hair - in fact from the time he was in 3rd grade, it was at times challenging for me getting him to both eat breakfast & do his hair in the mornings to get out the door for school. But once I started making him and Jes my own version of an egg mcmuffin breakfast sandwich, yes, bacon, he always went out the door with a full happy tummy---and perfect hair.
