One of my favorite things about Chad is how he made me laugh. I remember we rode to school together every day & we had this kind of ritual. Every morning we'd listen to Led Zeppelin on the way and we'd barely speak. (I thought 8am was early then, but that was before a career at Starbucks) We'd say "have a good day" and that was how we'd start almost every morning. Zeppelin and quiet. It was good. 
    The afternoons on the other hand, were totally different. We'd be all hyped up about our days and tell each other what went on and funny stories from the day. We had this contest one day to see who could come up with the grossest insult without swearing at each other. He told me I was like that runny stuff that comes out when you don't shake up the mustard. I told him he was like the crusties that build up around the top of the the A1 bottle. It was so funny.   
  One day he was watching me laugh and he told me I looked like a snapping turtle and he made this face. I started laughing so hard I almost threw up. I had to pull the car over to some parking lot on the way home because I couldn't drive and laugh that hard. I was crying from laughter and there was snot, which of course made us laugh so much harder. 
We used to do these fake laughs until they turned into real laughs. Oh, I'm just laughing and crying right now just thinking of all of it.
Sweet brother, no one on earth made me laugh like you. Oh, how I miss you. I miss you so much. I'm so thankful for these memories.
