After Chantell was born we had no name in mind.The second day, I believed I received a heavenly name, one I had not heard before, Chantell Lee. A delight to many was this beautiful baby. Long dark hair, already in a curl upon her head! As she arrived weighting 9 lbs and 3 oz. her appearance was one of a month old, chubby arms and legs. Most of all my memory of her was a good baby that slept through the night and did not cry constantly. She was content with her position in life! Jack, her Dad was especially taken with her and to this day Chantell holds a special place in his heart. She was his first born and they had developed a great relationship. She talked and he listened. I stayed away, as much as I wanted to her what she was saying, I gave them their time! This past 6 1/2 years have been difficult, I have learned that God is faithful. He does not leave us, and when we most need him, he is there. He is close to the broken hearted. Those that mourn will be comforted! Chantell is in our hearts and the pain of loss does lessen, but does not totally leave us!
