Her Life

My Mother Charlene Prince

August 17, 2015

Charlene was a strong woman who raised her children playing the piano professonally. She is one of the best. I cannot say "was" because my mothers music has ; and always will touch many lives. She raised us when we were young at 1511 Slate Run Rd. New Albany, Indiana. We were lucky enough to live on the same property as our Grandmother Verna Maher, and our Great Grand mother Gertrude Seeback. There were a lot of good and sad times at property. To this day my sister and I wish we could oneday jave that property.Mom was a faithful Mormon , she played the piano for them when she was able and was a member of the Relief Society.. Her favorite color is purple. She enjoyed nature and fresh flowers, and animals. She had a heart like no one else.  She attended The Cuurch Of Jesus Christ Latter Day Saints for so many years over 20yrs. I'm certain.Through the years she lost her mom, and all three of her sister's whom she loved so very much. My mom suffered a lot of sad times through mental and physical abuse through marriage's that weren't the best. What amazed me is that towards the end my mother made peace with that ! She suffered romatic fever as a child and in her older life.skin cancer, breast cancer, mutiple back surgeries that disabled her. No matter what my mother went through she faught threw it all! She is to this day my mentor and the strongest person I ever knew. She loved her Grandchildren and loved all of us! For that I am blessed.
