Mr. Charles “Mac” Bowles, 70 year old resident of Lanett, died Thursday, November 29, 2013, at his residence.

Mr. Bowles was born in LaGrange on Sunday, May 2, 1943, the son of the late J. B. and Gladys Garrett Bowles. He worked for Mansour’s in LaGrange for 50 years. He was an avid Georgia fan and loved to watch high school football. Mr. Bowles was a member of the First Baptist Church of Lanett.

Survivors include his wife, Darlene Phipps Bowles of Lanett; his son and daughter-in-law, Charles “Chuck” (Tammy) Bowles, his granddaughter, Bailie Bowles and his grandson Chaz and Chase Bowles, all of LaGrange.
