Upland, PA native Charles "Charlie" L. Jensen Sr., passed away on Sunday, October 23, 2016 in Richmond, VA. Charles is survived by his daughter, Heather Jensen and grand daughters, Brooklyn and Danaya; sons Charles L. Jensen Jr. and Adam Jensen (Mother Linda Jensen); and son Malcom Comisac (Mother Michelle Comisac). He is also survived by his siblings Stan "Skip" Dauber (Karen), Sue Sims (Ken), Laurie Furniss (Mark), Preston Jensen Jr. (Lillian), Sharon Jensen, and Kenny Jensen (Candy). Charlie was the beloved uncle and great uncle of many nieces and nephews. In the last years of his life, Charlie was cared for by his longtime girlfriend, Gwin Yocum. Charles is predeceased by his father, Preston Jensen Sr.; his mother, Charlotte "Chickie" Jensen; and brother-in-law Kevin Griffith.
A memorial service and luncheon will be held on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 11:00AM at Upland Baptist Church located at 325 Main Street, Upland, PA 19015.
In honor of Charlie's deep love for animals, the family asks that donations be made to your local animal shelter in lieu of flowers. If you still feel compelled to send flowers, the church recommends Marcus Hook Florist (610)-485-3281 Be sure to let the florist know the church will not be open for delivery until Saturday morning.
