I am beyond myself right now!!! We're having a baby GIRL! Ya know, I wanted to announce this in the most cutest way possible, but then I remembered being told, while my papaw was in his unresponsive stage, that he had always wanted a little girl and he swore I was going to be the one to have it...and well, I did! My papaw might not be here to spend time with her and take her fourwheeling like I know he'd want to, but I do know one thing, my baby girl has and always will have the most amazing guardian angel! So to me, this was the best way to announce! We got our girl papaw, we love you!!!

Heaven gained another sweet SWEET angel this evening. My papaw was loved by so many and he will be missed dearly. He was basically the only grandparent I ever really had and I will miss his silly self soooooo much! He definitely did not deserve to lay there like he was. He needed his peace and he got it today. God got him a beautiful Angel yesterday evening. Idk what I'm gonna do now. We have shared so many great memories together, all we can do is sit back and laugh about all the great times. I know ur not suffering anymore, u beat us there. Words can't explain how much u meant to me but I have no "I wish I had" or regrets about anything. I have enjoyed my life with u and now it's only a matter of time before I see u again

Charles left a lasting impression in my mind of a man who truly and sincerely loved his family. The one thing we can all learn from Uncle Charles is that no matter how bad or difficult you think your situation is you can still find something to smile about or at least bring a smile to someone else's life.
