His Life

The Beginning

April 15, 2014
Charlie was born February 12th, 1982 in Framingham, MA. We first saw him on February 15th when he came through our door wrapped in a swaddling blanket, a six pack of enfamil, the most beautiful brown eyes and a rose bud mouth. He was our gift from heaven delivered to our door in Stow, MA. Charlie was the most beautiful baby with a happy smile and a pleasant personality. He was the baby everyone wanted to hug, hold, kiss and cuddle. The years went by far too quickly. We moved to Sterling, MA in 1986 before he started school. How I cried that first day of kindegarten when he boarded the big yellow school bus. He was happy, I was sad. School was always pleasant for Charlie and he did very well in school. There was no class he couldnt master and if he received a "B" he was disappointed in himself. He could rattle off numbers from memory and math equations like they were riddles. In high school he excelled in track and running was a passion he thoroughly enjoyed. He was our shining star. Friends were important to Charlie and he made them easily. Everyone was equal in his eyes and everyone had redeeming qualities. Noone had any imperfections and all were welcome in his life and our home. His sense of humor touched many and his laughter was contagious. His easy going style made us all feel safe, comfortable and at ease in his presence. Family meant everything to Charlie. He always wanted to please everyone no matter what the issue. Every Christmas he would look forward to spending the day with Uncle Brian, Aunt Charlene, their family and friends. He would say hello to all and then quietly enjoy the festivities. He admired Charlene and Brian, but never got the chance to tell you so. So here and now I will tell you for him. Thank you for all those special holidays and memories that we cherish.
