This memorial website was created in memory of our loved one, Charles Norman Shaffer, Esq., 82, born on June 8, 1932 and passed away on March 15, 2015. We will remember him forever. Charles/Dad/Grandpa will be missed by his loving partner Christine, his four children Monica, Leslie, Norman and Camille, his nine grandchildren, his step daughter Melissa Randolph and many friends and colleagues. Charles lived life to its fullest as he practiced law, rode his bike and beloved horse up until his death. His illustrious career in law started in the New York State Justice Department and spanned through the years with notable cases as prosecuting James Hoffa as a member of the Justice Department under President John F Kennedy, serving on the Warren Commission to investigate the assassination of President Kennedy, and defending White House counsel, John Dean, during the Watergate scandal. He was an avid fox hunter and throughouly enjoyed his time with his horse and fellow huntsmen. He will be greatly missed. May he rest in peace. Amen.

He was a lot more to me, than just my godfather. He was an inspiration to me and was there when I needed him most. No doubt, he left his mark on this world and from that we all benefitted. Camille, I am so glad and proud of you for constructing this remarkable website, a truly fitting tribute to him.
