"Hey padebo, do you know what day it is today? well that use to be one of your favourite day Christmas eve. this will ring in my head every time it is that time of the year because you would say to me, "Eileen go on my account and get some money to get a straw mat, and carpet for the porch. there is the dry pork and yam, for making your broth." Since Ronnie got married it was a ritual with you. When you were able you would go by mena to do your message with your stick in hand and bag around your neck, walking down the road and there was always one of the young guys in mahaut to assist in bringing it at home for you. Guess what? Ronnie said he still want to keep up the ritual. Well daddy I will miss you because it was two of us there doing our thing and waiting for Ronnie, his wife and mother in law to come eat and enjoy ourselves after midnight mass. Yes there were other people who came in to join us.Surely you will be missed by all of us."
It is sad to see you go but Jesus wanted you in his paradise for a purpose only you would know. We all missed you dearly. The moments shared with you were very special and we shall all cherish them for all of our life. Will always continue to love you daddy. R.I.E.P"
