It's been 5 years ago today...it does not get easier as today I am reminded of sitting there with you that day and holding your hand, whispering I love you in your ears and to still know that not all of you was with us but part of you was still until that evening when God took you to be with him in heaven. I hope to live up to be half the woman that you were as a man here on earth for God. I love you daddy and miss you terribly today...I wish I could hear one more phone call threatening to call the police and "I mean it Lavonda Kaye" you would say...Oh how I would love to hear your voice just one more time and have your arms around me one more time. But I know in some ways you are here with me. Again I love you old man.

It's been 4 years, but still I can hear you praying when you would go to bed....I can still remember your voice mails when I could not pick up the phone warning me that you were going to call 911 and you meant it...today there are a flood of memories coming back to me...I miss you :)

Even though I can't be with you anymore, I know I see you in my dreams....and in those dreams to me you are just as real.....I love you daddy! :)
