No one can prepare you for a loss; it comes like a swift wind. But take comfort in knowing that Charlie is now resting in the arms of our Lord. A person that departs from this earth never truly leaves, for they are still alive in our hearts and minds, through us, they live on.

Please accept our deepest condolences to you and your family he will not be forgotten.

Kerri, my condolences to the Stewart family and friends. Charlie was a great guy, he used to stop by the union hall occasionally to have a cup of coffee, read the newspaper and shoot the bull with other local 359 members. He was always willing to help and loan out his tools for anyone in need and he will be missed by his union brothers and sisters. Rest in peace Charlie.

My deepest condolences to both Sandy and Donna. My prayers and thoughts will be with you today. I'll always remember the way Charlie could strum a guitar and sing a song. Although we haven't seen each other in years I still had a place for him in my heart. Charlie you have left this world way to soon. Until We meet again my Friend "rest in peace".

Charlie and Dick talking after the funeral of my brother John.

Avondale Circle

July 17, 2015

I first met Charlie when we lived in the Avondale Circle. Everyone in his family was always welcoming. Charlie and his family accepted me as one of their own, as I did them. I will never forget their friendship.

Charlie was a popular guy in school and everywhere he went his kindness was well known. He was the kind of friend that would give you the shirt off his back, literally.

I loved you brother and your whole family too. Charlie always greeted me as "my rich brother Rich" and I will miss those words dearly. I particularly appreciate the way you took my brothers under your wing while I was serving in the Navy, They never forgot what you did for them.

I loved hearing Charlie play the guitar and sing, he had a good shot at making the big time but he had a family to raise and that was more important to him.

Rest in Peace Charlie, I'll see you on the other side.
