Charlie was the father of five children, Charley Marie (deseased at birth), Cheryl Yvonne, Linda Faye, Stanley Wayne and Charlie Dwayne. He gave the best gift any father can give to his children: he loved their mother and was married to her for over 53 years at his passing.  In our hearts, there was no greater daddy in the world.  He lead his family to Christ and made sure we all knew the Lord.

He was the Chaplin of the Eastern Seaboard of the Baptist Union, Chairman of the Deacon Board for over 30 years, and president of the Usher Board at his church.  

We will forever miss you and love you daddy.  We are doing what you asked...I heard you loud and clear ("Just do what you are doing and stick by her")...I am daddy, I am.  Love you and miss you!  I will see you one day soon waiting at the gate for me!
