Charlie Henry Woodall was born March 17, 1920 to the late Wylie Woodall and Ardella Sinkfield. He departed this life on June 19, 2011 at the Lagrange Hospice.

He joined the Mt. Venus Baptist Church at an early age where he remained a member until death.

He was a sharecropper and farmer by trade. He worked many years at Bonnell Aluminum Company, State Farmers Market of Forest Park and Georgia Pacific of Durand, Georgia.

He was a loving father and grandfather who taught his children and grandchildren how to work and provide for themselves.

He was married to the late Lurlene Riggins Woodall who preceded him in death and to this union ten children were born.

He is also preceded in death by two sons, James Edward (Pookey) Woodall, Refer Williams, Jr. (Deek), and one daughter, Cora Lee Woodall; three sisters, Savannah Connelly, Cathlene Adams and Mattie Lou Andrews; four brothers, Cicero Atkinson, Aaron Sinkfield, Ike Woodall and James Sinkfield.

He is survived by six sons, Charles Daniel (Wanda) of San Jose, CA, Willie Henry Woodall, Wylie Woodall, Frederick Woodall, Melvin Woodall and Hubert Woodall (Evelyn) all of Gay, GA; five daughters, Mary Ann Marshall (Robert), Charlie Mae Roberson (Terry), Annie M. Bennett (Jeffery), and Wylene Lyons, all of Gay, GA, Mary Rosser (Travis) of Grantville, GA; two special grandsons, shaldon and Daryl Jarvis; one sister-in-law, Bessie Woodall; a devoted friend, Leonard Tucker and a devoted niece, Felicia Leslie; thirty grandchildren, twenty-six great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
