I remember discussions (sometimes heated and always passionate) about cars, politics, and your beloved Shockers. There was the late night trip to Dillons for Immodium -"Have you seen my baseball?" The Perseids we shared over the talkabouts at 2 am on a deserted Kentucky highway foreshadowing your brief but brilliant trail in my life.

I have so many emotions running through me when I think of you Chaz. The main one is joy. I feel so blessed to have been picked to be your mom. Although I was so very young when you were born you just loved me because I was mommy. All the trials and joys of growing were so worth it to me. Your sense of humor and laughter tickles me to this day.
It's very hard to remember right before you died because I didn't tell you that I loved you. I hope you know I'll love you forever and like you for always. As long as I'm living my baby you'll be.
Until we meet again my love ❤️

It was apparent from the time Chaz was a little boy that he had a big, big heart. He had that caring and watchful nature that went along with a wink-wink sense of humor and mischief making smile. With so many fond memories I keep stopping at one.
The Fourth of July was always a big day at the Parrott house and the kids always had a blast (no pun intended). It was illegal to shoot fireworks off inside city limits but everyone did anyways. As luck often proves, we were due to get caught. So when the Derby PD cruised down the street after dark Chaz lit the mortar shell which lit the sky almost simultaneously with the cop passing the house. The adults froze in place as the kids cheered the lights and explosion.
We didn't get in trouble and I doubt anyone would have been mad at Chazzie's big smile!
His presence on Earth was short but his memory and legacy of love will live on and on. Miss you Chaz!

Chaz Parrott, an epic cat house contractor, the best jerry springer impersonator you've ever seen, comedian extraordinaire, and an awesome cousin! Will always cherish my memories of him!
