Chelsi and I lived in downtown Frederick together for a bit...and attended Paul Mitchell together. Among the many fun things...weird things...and memories i have stored away...i wont ever forget walking around the streets of little Frederick Maryland...making Wookie calls to eachother..

II had a random memory of Chels pop into my head today. Back in highschool again. And. A bunch of us had plans to hang out at Centennial park, just walk around and picnic and listen to music. I heard that Chelsi would be there, and at that point we had not hung out, but I always thought she seemed like a cool chick.
As I pulled in, she saw my car and proceeded to run and do leaps through the air towards me, like a ballerina, in perfect form with a huge smile on her face and her arms swinging. She jumped in the passenger seat and we drove towards other friends. She was genuinely happy to hang out, and she did not even know me. We had a great time that day, she borrowed a few CDs, we talked about vegetarian hot dogs, and became friends.
This made me smile today.
When we were in highschool, Chelsi and I decided to brave an Ani DiFranco song for one of our SRO concerts. She played guitar, and I sang. We swore we sucked but ended up having a blast. We continued to share music throughout the years, and started a long distance band last year, which was mostly just us sending songs back and forth. I will play on for you, lovely girl.
