Her Life
May 27, 2016

Mrs. Gardner was born in Atlanta, Georgia on July 21, 1957, the daughter of the late Patricia Gay Stanley Buchanan Dailey and Floyd Junior Buchanan. She was a Christian by faith. Cheryl’s whole life revolved around her children, grandchildren, and sister. She devoted every moment to their care, and seeing that each of them had the best life possible. The highlight of her year was when her family all gathered at her home to enjoy her wonderful turkey and dressing and famous banana pudding. Her family is all in awe of her for her Godly nature, wonderful forgiving heart, and generous and loving spirit. The example she set for all of them has made them into the fine adults they are today. She will long be remembered by all who knew her.

She is survived by her husband, Michael Gardner of Carrollton, GA.; four daughters, Celina Wise of Canton, GA., Amber Nichols of Ballground, GA., Crystal Bramlett (Steven) of Carrollton, GA., and Holly Baswell (Charlie Knight) of Newnan, GA.; two sons, Larry Wise of Franklin, GA., and Brian Buchanan (Rebecca) of Newnan, GA.; one sister, Priscilla Smith (Stanley) of Newnan, GA.; four brothers, Wayne Buchanan of Senoia, GA., Joseph Buchanan, also of Senoia, GA., Emmett Buchanan and David Buchanan both of FL.; and nine beloved grandchildren; and devoted friend, Dwight Bramlett, with whom the family wish to thank for making this terrible time of loss a lot easier. Other than her parents she was preceded in death by one infant son, Charles Lacina, and sister, Sonya Money.
