REMEMBERING CHIEF OBEWU UKEGBU ONWUKAH (OBU ENYI) OCTOBER 12,1942 - JUNE 17, 2015 (CHAIRMAN INTERLAND INDUSTRIES LIMITED AND INTERLAND RESOURCES NIGERIA LIMITED)

Its exactly six years today that you sojourned to glory. It matters not how a man dies, but how he lived. The act of dying is not of importance, it lasts so short a time.” Chief Obewu Ukegbu Onwukah lived for humanity. He lived for family. He lived for country and, above all, he lived and honored God with his substance. “We all die. The goal isn’t to live forever, the goal is to create something that will”. However’ the tears is still flowing even when we accepted “God giveth and God taketh”.

Once in every generation, God sends that one person who comes along with refreshing energy, impacts us so affectionately; uplifts our spirits, energizes and inspires us to greater ideals beyond ourselves before bowing out at God’s time, quietly, but with Grace just like the Saints marching onto glory, that man was Chief Obewu Ukegbu Onwukah (Obuenyi Ejeubi of Abiriba-Kingdom).
Obuenyi, evokes the very essence of divine mandate, the core and all of true humanity, the priceless worth of celestial benevolence and the sheer beauty of purified compassion etched in unfailing love to all and sundry, crested with abiding devotion to God Almighty and furnished with unfettered flow of abundance; not just of earthly wealth and splendor but of enduring values and life itself. Obuenyi came, saw, and conquered. Obuenyi had it all.
Obuenyi, OU.,as he was fondly called, meant so many things to so many people. To some, he was the Prince of Nde nnem Ebulu &
Ndi Onwukah family of Abiriba, Industralist , entrepreneur. To others, Obuenyi was a repository of prodigious resources and a philanthropist per excellence. But in all, he epitomized hard work, love and enduring service to humanity. Obewu was a man who has done great things and has left indelible marks on the sands of time. Obuenyi, we love you today, tomorrow and forever, but God loves you more. Kaa Enyi, continue to rest in the bosom of the the Lord Jesus Christ with lots of love Amen..

We can also say you are Still Living; because as believers we do not die when such happens, but continue to sleep in the bossom of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Remembering: Chief Obewu Ukegbu Onwukah- 1943-2015.
Obuenyi eje ubi of Abiriba. Chairman Interland Industry.
On Thursday, June 17th, 2015, you departed this sinful world.
Obuenyi, if we your family, Nde nnem Ebulu and Nde Chief Ukegbu Onwukah had the power to pray for the dead to come to life, Obuenyi, you would not have spent a second behind the dark veil......Death is a mystery that rubbishes the intelligence and the frail wisdom of man and no human can unravel it.
We miss you, your kind words, which were like a breath of life to our plans, a strength in the times of want, a hand on our shoulders to spur and urge us on with assurance to lighten our face. You were bold and brave, gentle like a lamb, and epitome of humility, integrity, truth, courage and concern for others. You were a great man and legendary.
Your kind is rare to find in these time and clime. You were a very good son, brother, husband, father and grandfather, loving and a free minded man. You were a picture that represented different pictures to different people. “Like a flint, you sparked the light and brought so much happiness into my life and the life of others, and then, you disappeared into eternity. It would appear you knew your destiny!, you were fast and complete at all you achieved including, family responsibilities. Yours was the life of accomplishment, a success story, you fought a good fight of faith. Yes! There were many battles but you emerged victorious almost in all of them.
Though your parting has been painful, we are consoled that you are with the Lord. Your death gave us so much pain and heart break. Words cannot express our feelings. We are still speechless. We are filled with deep thoughts daily. We pray to God to grant us the Grace and strength to complete the race you began. Also, we are strengthened with your good deeds and legacies, and God has been so faithful. “Although you said I should be strong in all situations, I wept the day you passed on knowing how strong you were “, and not knowing your return date.......................?
My Unforgettable Enyi “we, your family are still grateful for all your labour of love and sacrifice and we will continue to celebrate you despite your exit. Obuenyi!, may you continue to rest in the bosom of Almighty God. Fondly remembered by Nde nnem Ebulu and Nde Chief Ukegbu Onwukah family today, tomorrow and forever.
