Rem, I spent 3 Chistmas's with you. The first wasn't much like Christmas to me. I had the pacemaker/defibrillator operation on Christmas eve. On Xmas 2011 you came over and opened your presents and gave your dad a cammo sweat suit. It was an XL. but he wouldn't exchange it, because you had picked that out. He still has that and WILL NEVER, EVER  let anything happen to it. He treasures that, as he treasures you. Christmas 2011 you came over with Chrissy and your little girl, you were so proud of her. To see such a bad dude, like you, change her diaper, and interact with her showed in your whole countenance. It was a beautiful thing. I remember you talked about who was loyal to you while you were in prison. You said, "there were 2 people I could count on" and you pointed to your dad. And then, you said, '"and this woman right here" and you pointed to me!!!  Rem, we got to know each other through those long years of writing letters and making sure you got your money. You always trusted me to get it done for you. And I did. If your dad said "I sent the money", you always said " let me talk to Kathy" . lol. I remember my letters were like 12-13 pgs. front and back. The guards use to tease you and say " Jeremiah, you got another "book" today. lol I'm glad I Was There for you in those tough times, and when your mom died. I liked Joanne, and you knew that. She WAS a good person. She helped me out alot, and you know how we talked about that. So, Christmas 2012, and you're gone!!. It's almost unbelievable have presents at my house for Jour'nee, Chrissy hasn't had the occasion to bring your daughter over yet. She may have to take the clothes back, if she doesn't get them soon. Rem, I have so much more to share. And I will, when I write on your memorial again. I miss you, Rem. And I did love you. I know you KNEW that. I'll write later, my friend. May your beautiful soul Rest in peace, in The Fathers arms.
