My mom raised my sister and I with the help of her devoted husband of 44 wonderful years.  She worked while going through college to become a respiratory therapist and after working at a hospital for a bit, she then went on to open her own mobile business doing what she loved going all over California to care for her patients.  But she started becoming ill going in and out of doctors to find out a couple years later she was in stage 4 Hodgkin's lymphoma. She went through chemotherapy and radiation then tried an experimental drug that put her in remission.  After that she had to get stints put in her heart to help prevent frequent heart attacks to years later having heart surgery that we all were afraid she wouldn't make it out of.  Over the years we had many scares that her cancer came back but thankfully it didn't.  However during the past 4 years approximately she was diagnosed with a rare condition rheumatoid lung that eventually took her from all who loved her tremendously and will miss her extremely.  She fought for 20 long years to stay with her family til her body couldn't fight any longer.  She was an extraordinary mother, wife and friend to many.  She was loved by everyone she met.  I LOVE and MISS YOU MOM VERY MUCH!!!!!
