Gone too Soon

August 26, 2014

When I woke up and found out that I had a little girl, I was so excited. Christina was a happy baby, she grew to be a precious toddler. I loved dressing her up. We spent lot of time together. When Christina turned a teenager, I saw signs of rebellion. She wanted to go an do things that she was way to young to do. When she couldn't do what she wanted, she would sneak out of the house. i soon realized that she was headed for some serious problems if I didn't get her help soon. By the time she was 14 years old, she had been in and out of some of the best facilities. We spent years trying to get things going right for her. By the age of 17 years old, she had enough of getting help so we stopped the tretment as far as putting her in the best health care facilities for severe depression, bi-polar, personality disorder. She sad at 17 she was ready to do on her own. we knew she wasn't ready but we were tired of money and time spent, only to see that we were going nowhere. She then married for a short time. It did't work out so the marriage ended. Soon she had announced she was pregnant. She was so on top of the world. Her first son was born and she did great. 2 years later she had another son. She managed well. She did what it took for her children. She loved them dearly. Later on she met a guy who would soon be her husband. Things went great for awhile, she then became pregnant with his child. I can remember the call. Mom i am pregnant. Soon she learned that she was having a little girl. I remember that call. She said mom i am having a girl, and guess what? were naming her Donna Kathleen Grover. Donna was after me and Kathleen was after her husbands mother. I was there for the birth of all 3 grandchildren. As time went on about 6 years into the marriage, things spirlled out of control. She managed to get away and take her and the children to a safe place. Things were going well but soon spirlled out of control. She had lost a battle of loosing her children and thought she would never get them back. Her ex had her scarred to death, and was bullided so bad on a site called live journal. She said mom, I can't take no more. She tried 4 times to end her life, only to wake up and ask why. The 5th time she succeeded, she left a letter and said mom, I'm sorry but without my children i'm already dead. Let them know how much I loved them. Tell them the good things we did together. Mom I loved you so much, you did everything, but it was me that made things hard. I as a mother tried so hard to save her, but I couldn't. Please........ Depression is nothing to play around with. If you know someone that's showing signs, talk to them. They don't want to die, they just want the pain to end. Christina you were a beautiful person. You had a laughter that lit up the room, even in your darkess moments. I will see you again oneday. As for your children, their doing well considering the shock of loosing you at a tender age for them.
