Christine Bullock Cunningham, 87, a longtime resident of Stem passed away Sunday, December 16, 2012 at Hillside Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Wake Forest.

A native of Granville County, the widow of Reginald Cunningham and the daughter of the late William Weldon and Lillian Harris Bullock.  She was a member of Union Chapel Baptist Church and was a homemaker.

Funeral Services will be conducted at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 in the Eakes Funeral Chapel in Creedmoor by Rev. James Smith.  Burial will be in Union Chapel Baptist Church Cemetery in Zebulon, NC.

Surviving are three daughters, Linda Richardson of Stem, Kathy C. Tant of Wake Forest, Teresa C. Williford of Goldsboro, a son, Gary W. Cunningham of Stem, a sister Betty B. English of Laurinburg, four grandchildren and four great grandchildren.  She was preceded in death by her brother, Bill Bullock.

In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that you make a contribution to Concord Baptist Church or to South Granville Senior Center.

Visitation will be held from 12:30 – 2:00 PM, Wednesday, December 19, 2012 prior to the funeral service at Eakes Funeral Home in Creedmoor.
