|Let the memory of Chuck be with us forever|
"Chuck will be missed. Although I did not play football in high school, I did play 150# football in college, a gentleman's game more interested in the social life post game than the game. As I lined up ay my left defensive end position in our game at Princeton, I noticed a familiar face on the other side of the line at the offensive right guard position. Chuck Williams, my homeroom president for three years at MtL, was lined up against me. The game was not memorable, but partying well into the night with Chuck at his Princeton club listening to Chuck and his fellow Tiger Paws was. He was, as they say, a gentleman and scholar. Pax.

Good guy and a tribute to the class of 55 and the way we were then.
My kindest thoughts and condolences
"While it is such a long time since Chuck and I met, I remember him as a splendid scholar, a solid fellow-footballer, a good sense of humor in a subtle way, the qualities that wear well in one with whom friendship and admiration were much appreciated. Would that Flo and I might have accepted his invitation to visit in Arizona offered at our 59th reunion."
"I enjoyed Chuck's contribution to our last class reunion book. I, too, love Arizona with its monumental natural beauty. My sympathy to his family at this time. I know he will be missed. Margie Spindler Strauch"
"A truly first class person that I am sure will be deeply missed by his family and friends. May his soul rest in peace."
