"Dear Chris, Eric & Jenny - I am so thankful to have met your Mom.  I will never forget the wonderful luncheon she hosted for all of us at Cornell.  She gave us a great tour of the campus and even bought my three year old son a Cornell sweatshirt.  It was an event I will never forget.  I truly know how heartbreaking the loss of a parent can be.  Take special care and cherish the memories."

"Mrs. Norby, as I called her for many years, was one of my mother's dearest and  beloved friends. Growing up in Brockport, I would look forward to her annual summer visit with Chris, Eric, and Jenny.  It was always fun times filled with her amazing laugh. "A favorite anecdote about Cynthia was how she took in a stray kitten and to prevent her allergies from acting up, washed it under the kitchen faucet!.
