Clara Caroline Reisdorff was born April 8, 1934 to Earl and Agnes (Kozisek) Reisdorff at David City where she attended St. Mary’s Catholic grade school and graduated from David City High School in 1952.  On July 30, 1966, Clara married Herman E. Dvorak at St. Mary’s Catholic Church in David City.   The couple resided on the farm 5 and a half miles north west of Dodge in Cuming County.  She had been employed at the Egg Plant in David City, Schweser’s, Howells Poultry Processing, and Park View Nursing Home.  They moved into Dodge in 1997, and Clara resided at Park View since 2013.

Clara was a member of St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church, Altar Society, Christian Mothers, First Catholic Slovak Ladies Association, and Neighborhood Card Club.   She was Cuming County 4-H leader and bowled.  Her pastimes included knitting, reading, cooking, baking, gardening and garage sale bargain hunting.
