Clara Jane Dennis Hinton was born September 6, 1941 to the late Emory and Clara Mae Dennis and departed this life May 29, 2011.

Clara joined St. Smyrna Baptist Church at an early age. A quiet and humble young woman, she attended and graduated from Central High School. At the age of 17 Clara united in marriage to Harry Dollar and to this union two sons were born. She later joined in matrimony to Tommie Louis Hinton, to this union one daughter was born.

Clara retired from Bleyle Inc. America where she served faithfully for 20 plus years. After which she became a stay home wife. During her last years she served as a faithful and loyal wife, taking care of her ill husband until she herself became ill.

Clara was preceded in death by her parents, Emory and Clara Mae Dennis; brother, Johnny Dennis; sisters, Alice Houston and Margaret Dennis; step daughter, Martha (Niecey) Powell; and niece Jana Dennis Anderson.

She leaves to cherish her memory, husband Tommie Hinton; five sons, Wesley Dollar, Harry (Rick) Dollar, Stanley Hinton, Reginald Hinton and Tracy Hinton; one daughter, LaTonya Hinton; sister, Earlene Leah Dennis; seventeen grandchildren; twenty-two great grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews and other relative and friends.

Interment: Shiloh Baptist Church Cemetery
Alvaton, Georgia
