|I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies; and whoever lives and believes in me will never die.|
This website was created in the memory of our loved one, Cleo Lewis, who passed away on November 26, 2010, we will remember her forever. Please see the section titled "Her Life" for information on Cleo's Homegoing Service.
"YOU ARE MY ANGLE
YOU TOOK ME UNDER YOUR WINGS
MY PROBLEMS BECAME MY COURAGE
YOU WHISPERED NO PAIN, NO GAIN
HARMONY FLEW WITH ME
YOUR COURAGE EASED MY PAIN
AS WE FLEW TO DISTANT PLACES
YOU WHISPERED I LOVE YOU
GOD LOVES YOU
IF YOU HAVE FAITH, YOU HAVE EVERYTHING
"I grew up seeing you as a loyal friend and mother to Alfie; and effectually as the only grandmother the kids and I knew. You made me fall in love with cooked cabbage :) It'll never be the same but, we'll see you again, if we live right. Love you. Chika"
"Simply Redeemed by Brian Courtney Wilson
When I hear this song I think of you Aunt Cleo…
I am a Christian, do you know what that means?
It means I’m far from perfect but simply redeemed
I was bought with a purpose, purchased by love
It’s not a form of religion, but a gift from above..
Love ya Ilean Johnson, Elkridge, Maryland"
"Dear Grand mom Cleo you are loved and will be forever missed. I know that God has made you an ANGEL to watch over me. All My love"
"I never really had the chance to get to know my aunt Cleo.Although she sure knew me.Everytime I'd see her she would say my name like she was aunt Alice living right here in Philly. It always made me warm right up talking to her.
I've learned a lesson from the passing of aunt Cleo.I'm taking a page out of your book aunt Cleo. You have inspired me to be more involved with my family.Rest in Peace!"
"Aunt Cleo was a wonderful and loving aunt, an awesome prayer warrior and had a heart for the things of God. Even though she suffered many trials, she continued to rejoice and praise God (I Peter 4:16). On more than one occasion, she told me "if the good Lord comes and take me home today or tomorrow, I'm ready". Take your well-deserved rest. I love you & will miss our uplifting conversations. Bren"
"A piece to share pulled from the Bible of the late Rev. Carl W. LEWIS Sr.
I WAS REGRETTING THE PAST AND FEARING THE FUTURE, SUDDENLY GOD WAS SPEAKING:
"MY NAME IS I AM."
HE PAUSED, I WAITED AND GOD CONTINUED: "WHEN YOU LIVE IN THE PAST, WITH ITS MISTAKES AND REGRETS, IT IS HARD, I AM NOT THERE.
MY NAME IS NOT I WAS.
WHEN YOU LIVE IN THE FUTURE, WITH ITS PROBLEMS AND FEARS, IT IS HARD, I AM NOT THERE.
MY NAME IS NOT I WILL BE.
WHEN YOU LIVE IN THIS MOMENT, IT IS NOT HARD, I AM HERE. MY NAME IS
Well before Aunt Cleo’s departure, she knew the meaning of the aforementioned very well. Aunt Cleo lived a very successful and fulfilling life, as she wasted no time on the small stuff - she knew her purpose early on and was able to bargain (The Law of Karma, Cause and Effect) for those she loved. Aunt Cleo devoted her entire life to her family and provided the best of care and spiritual wealth for her love ones.
SO NOW IT’S TIME TO ASK THE ULTIMATE QUESTION: WHAT ON EARTH ARE YOU HERE FOR?
Preparation for the next life – Being included in God’s family is the highest honor and greatest privilege Aunt Cleo will ever receive.
We have work to do… search your heart… search your conscious… feel the rhythm of your soul and understand your purpose.
REV. CARL W. LEWIS SR. FAMILY"

"This is a diffcult time for the children and grandchildren of my Great Aunt Cleo. However you can draw comfort from 1 Cor. 15:26 "as the last enemy death is to be brought to nothing". Death is an enemy but we know soon that Jehovah and his son Jesus will bring an end to all sickness and death. Please accept my deepest sympathy.

"You will be missed Aunt Cleo. You were a soldier and you fought til the end. You will be missed and we all love you."
